Sekou Sylla, best known in the area for his electrifying performances in Clara's Dream a jazz nutcracker, and Marilyn-Middleton Sylla, director of Bamidele Dancers and Drummers, will be teaching their inspiring and high energy West African dance and drum workshops. Dance the welcoming Yankadi, and other traditional West African dances, and accompany this wild movement with the warmth of live African drumming and singing.

The drumming class covers djembe hand drumming and djun djun stick drumming. The workshops are designed for a mix of levels.
