About The SPACE
The SPACE (Space for Performing Arts and Cultural Exchange) is an arts and cultural facility providing the community with a diverse offering of classes, events and performances. Under the direction of Drika Overton, it is home of the annual MaD Fest aka Portsmouth Percussive Dance Festival. The SPACE opened in February 2005 and offers ongoing classes that reflect the vision of the annual MaD Fest, an internationally recognized festival created in 1995.
